Ed Carey

STRATEGIC PARTNER FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING

Ed brings more than 20 years of experience in hotel and resort branding, sales and marketing to the Essential Meetings Team. Early in his career he was part of the opening team of one of the most significant resorts in the Caribbean, the El Conquistador Resort & Club and Las Casitas Villages where he continues to consult on sales deployment and tactics. He played a significant role in the development of LXR Luxury Resorts and served as the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for the company’s resort, golf and marina properties in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

When LXR merged with what is now Hiltons Luxury Brands, Ed served as the Managing Director of Sales at the Boca Raton Resort and Club and Boca Beach Club where he was twice awarded the Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts Director of Sales and Marketing of the year. Ed has a unique insight into the management of the hotel and resort experience and will help us build strong relationships and mutual trust with our partner providers.
